Kuroi Voron โนะโมโนกาตาริ ch.0 Intro
Chapter 0 : Y
This blog series (again) gonna be about story of my Voron 2.4r2 building. Since, I though it was a long story which it should be record. Even no one will ever read this, It just for me.
I start thinking to build this pile of moving metal after getting into sim-racing. At that time I already own Creality Ender 3 (Primitive Model) fyi. For sims, I bought an ancient unused Logitect Momo FFB Wheel from my friend. It never be a good sim wheel but good enough to shove me into that rabbit hole. After countless of times I fell off the cliff in Dirt Rally, I have an idea to convert that ancient one from 270 deg. (I guess) to 900 deg. from the video I've seen from random russian guy on youtube.
What to wait for, I start trying to print PLA parts with my Ender. All the parts are ready, but damn why Z shaft is leaning like Pisa. I tried a lof of tuning but I never make it right and it wasn't good enough to print the stronger material like ABS easily even I build the famous double IKEA Lack carbinet. I need something better than this.
All I need is something percise, robust, & not stupid.
Voron 2.4 is an opensource Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM). Its kinematic is core-xy, provide speed and precision on priting each layer held on 4 belted z-axis that can be adjusted. These will be provided the most efficient printing on a 350 mm x 350 mm cast aluminium print bed with PEI sheet top. Powered by mainsail OS with a tons of people in this community. I knew this after watch quite a lot of video. At first I'm actually interested to build v0.1 but after done a researh on BOM, the price is kinda higher than kit provide. I've discuss with the kit dealer, I don't know why I end up with v2.4. Maybe I though its gotta be an endgame. (I was wrong).
